Data obtained from the weather station are sent to a receiving station via radio waves and then processed automatically for viewing on the Web. Data have been automatically checked for obvious errors but are not considered "good" until further quality control steps have been taken. At no point have the data been reviewed or edited manually and thus errors from the weather station can and will be displayed online. Errors can occur due to a variety of reasons including but not limited to fouling or physical damage to the sensors. Data are considered provisional and should not be cited. Data are reviewed and checked for accuracy and are available through our archive.
